How to Play Quintessential Game

Instead of guessing one word at a time, you’ll need to swap letters to rearrange them and finally uncover all the secret words. Luckily, the color feedback is still available in Quintessential, helping you to identify words much more easily.

Take a look at the grid and understand the theme

Don't rush rearranging the words, since it just takes a lot of your swaps. Instead, look at the puzzle theme and scan all five arrows to identify letters that already appear to be correctly positioned (green titles) and familiar word patterns that match the main topic.

Start swapping letters and get color feedback

Click or tap and switch two letters’ positions. All swaps give you color hints:

• Green tiles: Correct letter in a very correct spot.
• Yellow tiles: The letter belongs in the row, but in the wrong tile.
• Gray tiles: The letter belongs in another word.

Keep swapping strategically to complete words

Continue swapping letters based on the color-coded hints until each row forms the correct, valid word. As more letters turn green, the puzzle, of course, becomes easier to solve! The game tracks your move count; aim to complete the challenge with the fewest moves possible (8 is ideal!).
