How to Play Wordle Unlimited
Core rules and playing steps in Wordle Unlimited are the same as the original game. You have to guess the hidden word within a limited number of attempts. But, as you can solve more than one puzzle per day, the core goal changes a bit; let’s see!
Objectives
Solve as many words as you can, using the fewest guesses. There’s no time limit, so you can build your own winning streaks with no time pressure. Push for your personal best by uncovering as many secret words in a row as you can.
Core Rules
The secret word length: always 5 letters.
Guess limit: Six attempts per puzzle.
Color feedback:
- Green: correct letter, correct spot.
- Yellow: correct letter, wrong spot.
- Gray: letter not in the word
Unlimited play: Start a new puzzle immediately after finishing one.
Only valid words are accepted: The game accepts 5-letter valid words as guesses, with no exception.
Step-by-step guides
Enter a starting word. Choose a valid word and press Enter to submit it to get the color-coded feedback.
Refine your guess using feedback. Make your new guesses, adjusting your selection based on placement clues while avoiding letters with grey colors.
Solve the secret word. Keep guessing until you find it using the 6 attempts in total.
Start again. You can immediately play a new round in Wordle Unlimited and solve another word puzzle, whether you guess the word right or wrong.
Smart hacks for guessing words more easily
- Start with vowel-rich words. Your first guess should contain as many vowels (A, I, E, O, U) as possible. For example: Crane, Stare, Audio, Ouija, etc.
- Don't repeat eliminated letters. Pay close attention to letters in grey color and be sure not to include them in your next guesses.
- Make use of every guess efficiently. Even when you know some letters, it’s better to test new possibilities rather than repeating them unnecessarily.
