Connect Game is an online word puzzle challenge which tests you on the logic, words and pattern recognition abilities on a daily basis. You don’t need to look for words, you need to find hidden relationships among the words. Each puzzle has a 4×4 matrix of 16 words, which have to be sorted into 4 groups of 4 words each, according to a common word. Whether it's selecting synonyms, choosing popular music styles, puns or cultural references, all solutions need to be thought out and not just memorized.

How the Puzzle Works

Each round begins with 16 words displayed on the board. Your objective is to identify four words that belong together and submit them as a group.

If you need to make the most of your chances then begin with a group that you think you are most confident in because the solved words will make the remaining connections easier. Beware of obvious categories as there are many deliberate red herrings. Look for phrases and double meanings, or words that are often used in front of or behind another word. If the puzzle is too complicated, press Shuffle to see the puzzle again from a different angle. Most of all, don't take the chance on hard guesses, try to preserve your four safe mistakes.
